What is an OPAC?
OPAC is an abbreviation of Online Public Access Catalogue and is a digital library catalogue which is open to the general public. At the moment the EHB database is accessible through the Free University of Bozen – Bolzano OPAC catalogue. Currently the database consists of approximately 820,000 examples from over 30 libraries in South Tyrol.
Searching in the Catalogue
Research can be carried out using a simple keyword search or the extended search functions which cover several areas [title, author, year of publication etc.].
To examine the results of successful research directly and in person please contact the administrator of the collection concerned directly citing location and shelf-mark.
You can find contact addresses here under the rubric The libraries in figures: choose the library you are looking for.
